The challenge

As we know, it is very important for a restaurant to have excellent and tasty cuisine, and of course a beautiful and cozy design, so that customers feel comfortable and happily enjoy freshly prepared dishes and drinks, but not a lot of  people understand that the appearance of the menu is also an important aspect. The menu is the first thing the client sees after the smiles of the staff and soft chairs, the main goal of the client begins with it - to eat or drink deliciously. It is very important that the menu, as part of the design, conveys the general atmosphere of the establishment and attracts the client.

However, the menu also refers to the types of design in which readability is important, because it is not just a beautiful picture. It should be written in such a way that it is easy for the client to navigate. Looking at the Leadbelly’s menu now, it cannot be said that it corresponds to any of the points of a well-created menu, which is why I decided to completely change its design and generally combine it with the atmosphere of the establishment.

The solution

Create a brighter and more aesthetic menu, which will surpass the simple one that was used before. But to make sure that a bright and beautiful picture does not harm the readability and practicality for comfortable use of the menu by the client.

Final

In general, I believe that the menu turned out as I intended it.  The colors, illustrations and the overall picture look harmonious with each other and are great for the establishment.  I believe that after seeing such a menu, the buyer will be able, most importantly, to easily find his way around and place an order, and besides, be delighted with the appearance of the final product that I managed to create.
